I help people, teams and organizations be more effective, navigate change, and enjoy what they do.
My background is in product and systems development, holding leadership positions in technology companies from startups to Fortune 100 global enterprises, as well as working with universities and research groups.
I live in Galway, Ireland, and work with teams around the world, both in person and remotely.
I have participated in and led change efforts in complex environments with many such organizations. I specialize in agile and lean development, two complimentary approaches that together help to build adaptive capacity, responsiveness and resilience in teams and organizations working in complex environments. Agile development is an iterative approach that emphasizes delivering value in small increments through self-organizing motivated teams, short feedback cycles, direct customer engagement, and intense collaboration. Lean development is a holistic systems thinking approach that emphasizes building long-term sustainable organizations, continuous improvement, creating a smooth flow of value from idea to delivery, removing impediments, eliminating waste, and developing people as problem solvers.
